I am a resident of Mobile and trust me it was real and extremely funny. I actually went to the Crighton neighborhood and saw the spot of the sighting. I think the news media had a little fun with it..ie the sketch….but trust me that many locals were into it and believed it.

I spoke to the guy! It’s a man with short lookin hair, bangs like, got a hoody on. He said yo boy you want a pot o gold and i was leik hell yh gimmie da gold! He said you gota find it i ai tellin yo whjere it is boy. Then he jumped and dissaperared. I shone my phone after him but he just disapear. Man i met the leprechaun and i gotsta find tha gold! If anyone finds it its mine, he asked me if i wanted tha gold and i think he want me to have it. I MET THE LEPRECHAUN!!!!!
