Percussion With Water

Today i want to share this amazing video taken on a live Idan Raichel’s performance. Maybe many of you dont know this band, but it’s one of the most successful Israeli artists.

In this video the percussionist uses a traditional instrument filled with water, and the sound is completely mindblowing. I wish i was there to hear it, even on youtube this sounds great.
I admire Idan Raichel a lot, he learned music when he went to the army and he soon became successful, it’s a lot better than going to the army to kill palestinians. Great life lesson here.

Hope you enjoy as much as i did :)

One comment for “Percussion With Water”

  1. I was fortunate to have seen Idan Raichel at the Berklee Performance Center on March 24th and was amazed at the talent and sounds that came from this wonderful group of people.
The entire theatre was lifted off their seats for a standing ovation and the water percussionist had us in a trance listening and watching to the beautiful sounds and the feeling of the music from water and light. Each member of the Idan Raichel Project is talented in their own way and the blend of all the sounds is extraordinarily unique and inspiring. The beat goes to your soul. I am a fan for life.
